drive-by post

Isn't this cute?  A rose made of soap - you break off a petal to wash your hands.  Not sure I can do that, it's so pretty!  My boss gave me this yesterday (I love my co-workers!).  The Friends of the Library had a luncheon for the library staff, which I missed -- apparently these were table decorations.

I've been trying to fill this bobbin lately with Llama wool . . . almost there!  I did ply some spindled Llama lately, just didn't take a picture yet.  It's nice & soft with a little hairyness that I hope will look sort of angora-like when knit up. 

I must post another gratuitous cat-charmer!  Basking in the afternoon sunshine the other day . . .
