The whole world seems to be steadily going insane. It's such a postmodern farce! I can't watch tv for very long, particularly news. A steady diet of cop shows gets to be pretty disheartening, too. One night last week I just kept knitting & watching Law & Order - one murder after another, after another. Had to read something good as an antidote. Librivox.org is a wonderful thing, too. Vive audiobooks!
Anyway, life goes on even though sometimes it seems to be circling the bowl. I'm so grateful for certain particular friends (I'm sure they know who they are) . . .my family . . . and my sweet little kittygirl, such a loving little companion.

Recently I made two Baby Yoda sweaters for small people getting ready to enter this lovely handbasket:

I've begun a Mondo Cable Vest in some hand spun wool, taking up Bonne Marie's invitation to knit along . . . here's my progress as of this morning:

I kind of like the chalk-like stripes, but if I decide later that I don't, I can dye them out. Such fun to knit with one's own handspun yarn! I've got to get back to this, I want to wear it to World Wide Knit in Public Day . . . if you're in Northern Michigan, the Alpena County library is having a KIP in the courtyard . . .
