This morning my Mom had an appointment with a surgeon. More than ten years ago, she was treated for breast cancer, and on a recent mamogram they thought they saw something. So, with much fear & trembling she went to her appointment. . . and they want her to have a digital mamogram in a month. Apparently what they thought they saw on the film wasn't visible from all angles, so a closer look is warranted.
Hallelujah! A sort of reprieve. I'll keep praying it's nothing but a technical glitch in the mamogram equipment. There's nothing to fear.
So this is why my little Avatar is wearing a tshirt for Breast Cancer Awareness Month. My Mom is a darling of the First Order.
ps. Finished my sockies! Pictures later. I'll really wear these with relish, I took so long knitting them. :o)
